Times change, as do feelings.
The emotional context of any given song or album does not always match with the current emotional context of your life.
While the Meteora album does not currently “describe” my life at the moment, it’s still a great album brimming with potential subjective emotional responses.

I would say, from the standpoint of a musician, that it isn’t necessarily the message of the music that translates into your personal “soundtrack,” but the feel of the music itself and that feelings that come with it.
It is a great album though…
