I broke something.

Well I don’t know what it was I did, but I broke something. The text is all a little bigger than it’s supposed to be.

How to fix it.

Since I broke something, rather than fix it, I’m moving forward my plans to transfer the template over to style template so that it’ll be easier to mess about with the stylesheets without breaking anything.

I won’t be doing that tonight though. Maybe tomorrow.

hCard.

Can’t talk much about it now, but I’m altering my blogger template to use the for the mini-profile displayed across the blog (but not the main profile).

I may screw up the template, so bare with me.

New button links.

Just added the button to today. The most recently added button links are to be found at the bottom of the list, unless I deem them more important (eg. a Get Sunbird button will be placed under the when one gets released).

Altered friend’s links.

My friend Emma decided to change the location of her blog, so I of course had to alter my template.

Follow-up to the EU‘s sodomization of software developers story I mentioned previously.

Greedy Wankers Epicrealm use one of the most evil, mis-used things created by man vague patents to stuff their wallets with other people’s hard earned cash sue websites.

Slashdot is reporting how a bunch of greedy wankers Epicrealmare using vague patents to sue a bunch of websites. This is one of the reasons I hate software patents and why I believe copyright law has pretty much everything covered when it comes to protecting software.

Yet another stupid idea driven by greed a desire to protect the US economy.

Slashdot makes a note of how the recent decision to extend daylight savings time, a move motivated by greed that shows the US government really doesn’t give a shit about world ecology intended to save several thousand barrels of oil a day would screw up a whole range of devices such as VCRs, Cellphones and watches. Now if I remember rightly when laziness led to the Y2K problem, the government helped out getting everything ready. Are they going to do the same to fix all the technology they just effectively broke ?

Friends Reunited might be up for sale.

The Register reports about the possibility that the horrendously coded Friends Reunited site might be up for sale. I for one hope the current owners piss off and somebody with more sense takes over and fixes the multitude of awful crap on their site.

Edit:

Yes I used Friends Reunited, but I still think it’s one of the worst piles of crap I’ve come across in coding terms.
