Well I got Jezebella confused with Brigette for some reason, but the cast list is finally up.
There’s only myself, Kirara, frankenson and Jezebella up their at the moment but hopefully that should expand as Life in the Pen goes on.
The first issue is up, take a look at it on Kirara’s WordPress blog.
I’m in the first frame. Yay! :-)
Made a mistake, it’s Jezebella Desmoulins, not Brigette Javelin in the first issue.
There’s too many people to deal with cos everyone seems to want to fuck everything up. Moving home is annoying.
The draft rules will remain on the blog, but DO NOT CONTACT ME IN SL ABOUT THEM. I’m sick of people sending me messages about the bloody rules when I always tell them leave comments on the fricking blog.
The first 16 photos of the lesbian sex session mentioned in the first issue of Life In the Pen have been uploaded to my flickr account.
That’s just under half of the photos. I’ve got to re-sort the order of them, cos Flickr haven’t fixed their useless uploader yet.
The refund has been received. I won’t be shopping with them again.
My sources tell me 3 Novatech laptops went up for sale recently on eBay. They said that the laptops possibly were (the previous 2 fault ones, plus the final one i sent back) mine, and that they’ll be looking into it. I don’t think there’s anything dodgy going on, it’s just an interesting thing to find. Apparently not many people want to keep their Novatech laptops once they’re done with them, but Novatech will try to take yours off you before you are.
A friend of mine sourced me an iBook. Tweaked to the core. This baby will last a full days’ study on a single charge, and a whole day if I do bugger all. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it Novatech, laptop batteries do last more than two hours on a single charge when they’re used for things as simple as recording audio and word processing.
I’ll be keeping it till I get a new one next term.
So I’ll be moving into my own place soon. Yay for me. I sign for the keys on Monday, assuming the guy from the Uni did what I asked him and he emailed the people.
So after spending some time with friends in SL, I was using the map tool to check if some other friends were home before I tp’d in on them. I use a graphics tablet to control mouse movements in SL, something which the map interface does not like, so I had to zoom out.
What I discovered was a large stretch of ocean between the main continent and the north continent of the SL Grid. So I teleported over, and had to fly the rest of the way (an experience soon to be gone, hopfully). What I found was a little odd. An oil rig in Second Life.
A little investigation lead me to a pipe terminating 3 sims away !! That’s a fair distance in SL. I tried to enter it and had to make a mini-me so I would fit (I’m quite a tall feller). I could go much further than a couple of bends, due to some barriers in the way.
Returning back to the Oil Rig, I manage to obtain the following information:
.
Yes it appears that the prims in Second Life are produced in much the same way oil is- an entirely non-eco friendly process.
I took a lot of photos. Just short of 70 in fact. These photos, and others will be uploaded to my Flickr account once I have upgraded it to premium. If I upload all the photos onto my Flickr account, everything else will get chucked off/hidden.
Photos, along with conversations with Bub and Hamlet Linden will be posted eventually, if not shortly.
